Panwater Engineering Sdn Bhd (frequently shortened as Panwater) is a professionally established engineering company which is specialised in design, construction and manufacture of cutting edge heavy-duty cooling towers for a number of industries. As a custom-oriented manufacturer, the company is capable to produce cooling towers which fit specific requirements and needs for many industries.

With over two decades of experience in the industry, Panwater has been delivering specialised cooling tower engineering devices and solutions to various industrial plants across Malaysia, including the petroleum refineries, petrochemical plants, natural gas processing plants, food processing plants, semi-conductor plants and other industrial facilities.

Panwater was established in 1988 to provide the Palm Oil Refineries, Oleochemical Plants, Power Generation Plants, Biodiesel Plants, Steel Making Industries, and various industrial processes with high quality heavy duty cooling towers for continuous operation in the process and equipment cooling.

Over the years Panwater has grown steadily to become one of the most recognized cooling tower manufacturers in South East Asia with its cooling towers spread in many Asian countries and beyond. This success can be directly attributed to the quality of its product and diligent innovation with competitive pricing structure. With over two decades of extensive experience in the design, manufacture and construction of cooling towers in many different industrial environments, Panwater has developed many cooling tower designs ranging from cross flow to counter flow type, from induced draft to forced draft type and from splash fills to film fills type to meet each individual needs.

We are specialized in providing solutions to many extraordinary applications such high return temperature, contaminated circulation water, low outlet water temperature, harsh environmental conditions as well as continuous and heavy duty operation in industrial environment. General:
This series of cooling towers are designed for continuous & heavy duty operation in industrial cooling water system. The cooling towers are designed to operate within a harsh industrial environment where airborne particles present at surrounding is unavoidable, contamination of the cooling water with dissolves solids is expected and formation of scales and clogging of fill packing is anticipated.

Cooling Tower Type:
PET Series cooling towers is the induced draft cross-flow type with timber splash bars as the fill packing for the heat exchange transfer surface. Although cooling towers can operate individually as a single unit, they can also be assembled into multiple cells and operate as a single cooling tower. The cooling tower is shop fabricated and shipped to site completely knock down and ready for immediate site assembly and erection without further fabrication work required.

Types: 

Induced draft counter flow type with film flow packing as heat exchange fill media. Smaller model from PCF 50 to PCF 150 are factory assembled and larger models are delivered completely knock down and to be assembled at site.

• Applications:

PCF Series towers are used for indirect cooling processes where circulation cooling water is free of any contamination from the process such as oil and grease, foreign materials or debris. Circulation water quality is treated and make up water to the system is of good quality supply. Inlet water temperature into cooling tower is always maintained below the continuous operating temperature of 50 °C or below intermittent temperature of 55 °C. 

Operating environment for the cooling tower is preferably free from air pollution where airborne particles such as dust and fibrous materials should not be constantly present in the cooling tower surrounding.

Typical applications are heat exchangers, chillers, water jackets and cooling coil for equipment.
